Miniature Quilts....

My first love in quilt making was miniature quilts since they are so small and cute. The smaller the better, since I love working with small pieces. When I made my next quilts for my mother and sister in laws, Cathy and Patricia, I felt like I made "big-girl" quilts. The blocks seemed so huge to me since I also make doll house size quilts.

One of my miniatures quilts in the Amish tradition is approximately 8x10 and has 600 pieces and is not paper pieced. I'm not sure that's one I'd like to repeat anytime soon.
