Hand-Dyed Fabrics...

In May of 2003, I had the greatest honor of taking a class from Mr. Asamoah Kwabena Epton in tye-dye and batiking. "The Boss", as we called him came directly from Ghana to the United States, expressly to hold this class. My greatest joy was his remarks to our class that we had created such beautiful pieces of fabric, that we could teach him how we do it here in the USA! The class was sponsored by Sankofa Excursions with DeBorah Yeboah as our most gracious hostess for the weekend.
